Here is one of my entries for the "Make Ugly" contest.
"You Are One of Us" is a representation of a family of smokers that became mutants due to the high amount of Polonium-210 in the cigarette smoke. Overtime, the mutations produced by the Polonium-210 became embedded in our genetic coding creating a new generation of mutants highly dependent in this chemical.

The best art of it is that the story in the artist description fits the message of the picture. You don't really need the artists to explain it to you, you see the cigarrettes, the monsters, and if you needed any more clues, you got the newspaper. The message in the picture is crystal clear. And that alone makes this a excellent piece of art.
